"The Event"
What is "The Event?" Well, it's a TV show, for starters. But this new NBC series takes its title literally, as a mysterious and unidentified "event" threatens to irreversibly influence the future of mankind. Described by some as "24" meets "Lost," "The Event" features a talented lineup of actors including Jason Ritter ("Parenthood"), Blair Underwood ("Madea's Family Reunion") and Zeljko Ivanek ("Oz"). "The Event" occurs on Monday, September 20 at 9:00 / 8:00 PM central.
